The biggest thing to look for in a CBD product has now become nanotechnology. CBD Living is a company uses nanotechnology to produce their entire product line, including tinctures, oils, CBD gummies, creams and infused water.
What is nanotechnology in CBD?
In simple terms, nanotechnology is the scientific process used to create more easily absorbed particles of CBD. It may sound easy, but it is a highly scientific process that occurs on the molecular level.
In this process, scientists extract CBD from hemp plants and then create nanoparticles, which are significantly smaller than what was originally extracted. These particles are so small that they can pass through the bloodstream much easier, creating a product with better bioavailability (bioavailability refers to the amount of CBD actually absorbed by the body, as opposed to excreted as waste).
As the particles get smaller and smaller, the microparticles still behave very similarly to the macroparticles, but as we reduce the particles to a few hundred nanometers, some properties of the particles are completely different than the old particles…[for instance], they can pass through gaps that they were unable to [pass through] before. So we try to take advantage of this in different forms
